Rainy weather

Judy and Molly are setting up their instruments at an outdoor market. It’s their band’s first show outside.

Judy: My phone says there’s an eighty percent chance of rain.

Molly: Eighty percent? So, there’s twenty percent chance of an amazing show!

A woman at the next table is selling hot soup together: Girls, look at those clouds! It’s sure to rain soon.

Suddenly it starts to pour. People run everywhere.

Judy: Great! Our first show is over before our first song.

Molly: Ma’am, can we share your tent? People will come for soup and music!

- My tent? Fine, but hurry!

Molly moves the drums in two minutes.

Judy: How are you this fast? It takes you twenty minutes to choose a pen.

Molly: Emergences are fun! Now play!

Judy: Molly, this is our biggest crowd ever!

Molly: They are not here for us, Judy . They are here because we have a roof. We could just try being good!

Weather Forecast

The sky is very cloudy.

Judy: It’s going to rain. We should go home.

Molly: No way! The weather will clear up!

I checked the forecast this morning!

Judy: The sky is grey, Molly. Very grey.

Molly: Just give it twenty minutes! There are so many things to see here!

Judy: There are so many things to see at my house. Like my bed and my ceiling.

Molly: Come on, Judy they have live music here!

Judy: You said live music

Molly: Yes, so let’s stay! The sun will come out soon and then everything will be perfect!

Judy: Fine. Twenty minutes.

Twenty minutes later the clouds begin to disappear

Molly: See? Look at the beautiful sunlight! I told you!

Judy: O’K you were right.

They walk for five minutes in the bright sun. Judy stops.

Judy: Molly, it’s really hot now

Molly: It’s fine. It feels amazing!

Judy: I think my skin is melting.

Molly: You are so dramatic! Let’s find somewhere shady and sit for  two minutes.

Judy: You know what’s shady? My room with the curtains closed.

Molly: Judy! First it was too cloudy now it’s too sunny?

Judy: Yes, the weather is never right. We should go home.
