Imagine that you are doing a project "Group activities" together with your friend. You have found some illustrations and want to share the news. Leave a voice message to your friend. In 2.5 minutes be ready to tell the friend about the photos:

• give a brief description of the photos (2 features connected with the subject of the project in each photo minimum);

• say in what way the pictures are different (2 features connected with the subject of the project minimum);

• mention the advantages and disadvantages (1–2) of the two ways of spending time as a group;

• explain how these photos illustrate the project "Group activities"

• express your opinion on the subject of the project – what kind of activity would you prefer?

Hello, Kate

Look! I’ve found two photos to illustrate our project work on group activities.

One picture shows some children pulling a rope elsewhere on hot summer day. Children seem to be much / heavily/ involved in what they are doing. The other picture shows a group of children watching television at home. They enjoy seeing a movie and spending time together.

The pictures depict different group activities: sporty and relaxing. That’s exactly what our project is about.

The project reveals advantages and disadvantages of these two types of activities. Obviously, doing sports together elsewhere outdoors gives a lot of joy while doing something together indoors might be boring. However, indoor relaxing activities are safe while playing sports games might be injurious.

Since I am into playing sports games together  with my friends outdoors I would prefer  outside sports group activities

Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Volunteering”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:

1 explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;

2 mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of volunteering

·     3 mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of volunteering;

·     4 express your opinion on the subject of the project – which type of volunteering presented in the pictures you’d prefer and why

Hello, Kate

I have found two photos illustrating our project work on “ Volunteering “

One picture shows some children cleaning the environment elsewhere on hot summer day. Children seem to be heavily involved in what they are doing. The other picture shows a woman petting a dog in a cage in a shelter. They enjoy spending time together .

The pictures depict two different types of volunteering: cleaning the environment and taking care of abandoned animals in shelters. That’s exactly what our project is about.

The project reveals advantages and disadvantages of these two types of volunteering. Obviously, doing cleaning  together elsewhere outside gives a lot of joy while taking care of abandoned animals might be boring . However, picking up litter elsewhere outdoors might be injurious while helping abandoned animals make people feel good.

Actually , I would prefer taking care of animals in shelters. In my opinion, abandoned animals need people’s care and attention greatly!

Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project "Very Different Sports". You have found some illustrations and want to share the news. Leave a voice message to your friend. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:

— explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;

— mention the advantages (1–2) of the two kinds of sports;

— mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two kinds of sports

— express your opinion on the subject of the project  — whether you would like to take up a violent or an intellectual sport and why

Hello, Kate

I have found two photos to illustrate our project work on “Very different Sports “

One picture shows two boys playing chess elsewhere in the room. They seem to be heavily involved in what they are doing. The other picture shows two young men boxing elsewhere in the sports gym. They are competing for a medal.

The pictures depict two different kinds of sports: violent and intellectual. That’s exactly what our project is about.

The project reveals advantages and disadvantages of these two kinds of sports. Obviously, playing chess together gives a lot of joy while participating in a boxing competition might be painful. However, playing chess is so time consuming while boxing makes men healthy strong and brave.

Actually, I would like to take up an intellectual sport rather than a violent one. In my opinion, to do an intellectual sport is a good way to get a big rise in IQ.

Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “What is more enjoyable: travelling on a train or hitch-hiking?”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:

1 explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;

2 mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of travelling

·     3 mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of travelling;

·     4 express your opinion on the subject of the project – which type of travelling presented in the pictures you’d prefer and why

Hello, Kate

I have found two photos to illustrate our project work on “ What is more enjoyable: travelling on a train or hitch- hiking?”

One picture shows a hitchhiker carrying his heavy rucksacks. He looks happy and delighted about hiking.

The other picture shows a couple of rail travelers taking a trip elsewhere in the countryside.

The pictures depict two different types of travelling: hitching and travelling on a train. That’s exactly what our project is about.

The project reveals advantages and disadvantages of these types of travelling. Obviously, hitch-hiking is romantic and cheap while train fares can be expensive besides, you have to pay a supplement on some high speed trains. However, on a train you can get to the destination fast while hitch-hiking can take a long time.

Actually, I would like to travel on a train because trains are comfortable and fast.

• express your opinion on the subject of the project – whether you would prefer to live in a cold climate or a hot one

You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (2–3 sentences for every item of the plan, 12–15 sentences total). You have to talk continuously

 Give a brief description of the photos, justifying the choice of the photos for the project

-Say in what way the pictures are different , justifying the choice of the photos for the project;

- Mention the advantages and disadvantages / 1|2/ of these types of climate

express your opinion on the subject of the project/ whether you prefer to live in a cold climate or  a hot one and why

Hello, Kate

Look! I have found two photos to illustrate our project work on climates of the world.

One picture shows some people walking with their children in the park on cold winter day. The other picture shows a woman and a girl sitting on a bench elsewhere at the seaside. They are enjoying themselves and hot sunny weather. They look so delighted

The pictures illustrate pretty well how people spend their free time in a cold climate and in a hot one. That's exactly what our project is   about

The project reveals advantages and disadvantages of living in a hot country and  in a cold climate. Sure, people living in a warm climate enjoy being outdoors most of the time while in a cold country people prefer to stay indoors more often. However, it is impossible to have a good time doing winter sports when in a hot country, while in a cold climate one can do skiing, skating, play ice hockey. It’s fun.

Since I am a fan of  swimming and hot sunny weather I would prefer to live in a hot country

• give a brief description of the photos (2 features connected with the subject of the project in each photo minimum);

• mention the advantages and disadvantages (1–2) of using both means of transport;

• explain how these photos illustrate the project "Travelling on two wheels"

• express your opinion on the subject of the project – whether you prefer a motorcycle or a bike

Hello, Kate

Look! I've found two photos to illustrate our project work " Travelling on two wheels"

One picture shows two boys cycling along the road at the seaside. The other picture shows four motorcyclists coming past at a high speed.

The pictures depict two different means of transport : a motorcycle and a bike. That's exactly what our project is about.

The project reveals advantages and disadvantages of these two means of transport. Well, riding a motorcycle at a high speed is so exciting while riding a bike is not so fast. However, riding a motorcycle you do not exercise your body whereas riding a bike provides a lot of training exercise.

Since I am into fitness on a bike I prefer this means of transport. Riding a bike is really so great !

Hello, Kate

Look ! I’ve found two photos to illustrate our project work “ Indoors versus outdoors”

The first picture shows two children playing a board game at home. The children are playing hockey and they seem to be immensely involved. The second picture shows some boys playing football on the sports ground on frosty winter day.

The pictures depict how children spend their free time outdoors and indoors. That’s exactly what our project is about.

The project reveals advantages and disadvantages of spending free time in two different ways: indoors and outdoors. Well, outdoor activities make people healthy and joyful while indoor activities are not so healthy. However, indoor activities are likely to be more intelligent than outdoor activities.

Since I am into doing sports outdoors I like outdoor activities better

1Who is your role model and what is the greatest thing you’ve  learned from them ?

“ My role model is my big sister Shinees and the biggest thing that I’ve learned from her is that hard work really pays off and depending on how much work you put in you can finish things faster than you expected

It all works out in the end

My specific role model is Matt Kay who is a botany and earth biological professor

So, what he has taught me is that you have to always keep thriving in the future and do not lose track of your goals and also have great expectations for realistic views

This picture shows a city at night. It seems to be quite a busy street. We can see two traditional taxis on the right side of the picture and on the left a bicycle taxi. There seems to be a woman who is taking passengers in a taxi.

On the left side of the street there are many Chines shops so it’s probably Chinatown. On the right we can see some restaurants and people walking.

I don’t really know what else to say...

This is a picture of a woman who seems to be shopping in a market. It looks as if she is looking for honey or oil which are on sale on the stalls

The woman has a very... quiet an interesting appearance. She has an interesting headdress and very eye- catching eye makeup, as well. She’s in what seems to be a city center as the market looks quite busy.

That’s all I can say about the picture

This picture shows a group of ladies shopping in a market.

To the left and right are other shoppers and in front of them appears to be lots of accessories to wear like necklaces and earrings and bracelets

The only thing slightly unusual or that makes them stand out from the rest of the shoppers is that these ladies are completely covered from head to toe in material and they are burkas

I think that they are just having an outing into the market to shop for some new accessories

Look, here’s the photo from my album which was taken last year in the music club. The picture shows my cousin playing the guitar. He is playing the guitar and he seems to like it. My cousin is wearing very nice clothes  which suit him fine: blue jeans, a black jacket, a black T-shirt and a black cap.

I keep the photo in my album since I enjoy playing musical instruments guitar in particular.

I decided to show the picture to you as you’re a good musician and you will enjoy the photo greatly

That’s all I wanted to say about the photo
